Minor suggestions
- The app crashes when an invitation is sent for an event that doesn't exist. So, implement error handling.
- Users that are not logged in can access the new page through the URL, add before_action method, and add it to the controller.

Verify the routes
- As the authentication is required to create events and invitations, there's a conflict with the application index
- Rearrange the routes so the 'login' and 'sign up' URLs can't be shown if a user is logged in
