AEIconizer

Sketch plugin for automatic scaling of app icon artwork in all needed sizes (for iOS and macOS).

After creating icon in any square sized artboard, select any layer (or nothing if that's the only artboard on page), then run this plugin to generate all of the needed sizes for iOS, watchOS and macOS.

Plugin replaces all generated artboards every time it runs, but it will never delete your original artboard.

Support Sketch 45 plugin update system

Hi there!

This is a quick note to remind you that Sketch 45 will include a plugin update system.

It would be awesome if you could add support to it (it's really easy!) before Sketch 45 comes out. Ideally, you should release an update for your plugin while we're still in Sketch 44, so your users will have a nice & easy experience when 45 is released.

Icon Generator incorrect sizes for Xcode v 7.2

When generating icons, Xcode reports that the icon sizes generated from the plugin are never the correct size.

Is there an equivalent plugin to generate iOS Launch Images?

Great plugin but I was wondering it you plan on updating to include the new apple watch size. I would also love to see a way to automatically set the filename suffix and file type for each size exports. I find that I have to manually set the export setting + I have to add the suffix to include the size.

Only Icon-512 is produced when the plugin is ran.

When I run the plug in only one size is generated. Using Sketch version 3.4.2.

Doesn't work on Sketch 3.6.x

Hi, tadija, you really do a good job.
But after update Sketch to 3.6, the AEIconizer doesn't generate the icons in the right way(something like misplacement). Any plan on fix that?

Crashing on Sketch3 (v46.2)

Sketch3 (v46.2) is crashing when I run AEIconizer.

MacOS: 10.12.6

Half-pixel sizes

The artboards for Icon-83.5 and Icon-27.5 round up to the nearest integer. This is a problem when exporting since the 2x export is one pixel larger than required. Is there a setting in Sketch to allow the half-pixel?

IOS launch images

Any chance we'll be able to use this plugin to generate ios launch images as well? Would be really useful as a feature or separate plugin.

Inconsistent results for some layers

Are there any tricks to ensure accurate generation of the different icon sizes?

When I run the plugin, most of the image look correct, but a group involving a repeating symbol does not seem to be scaled down correctly.

I admit to being new with Sketch, so could be something I've done.

Not working on macOS 10.13.2 Sketch 48.1

No error message on script run but the plugin does nothing.

No Instructions on README for install (documentation totally missing)

There is no explanation of any official merit on how to install or use this software that I can find. It would be appreciated if actual installation instructions were provided, there are multiple ways to download this file on the page and it is not apparent what to do with the file.

Not working on Sketch 44.1

It only renames the original artboard to Icon-Original, but not create any additional ArtBoard.

On version 41, when generating the icon artboards, they're overlapping.

Hi

I'm trying to use AEIconizer with Sketch 43.2 and I just get the 512 icon.

Can you recommend a plugin version for Sketch 43.2?

Artboards are in wrong position if run on other than first page.

If I run the plugin on my first page in the Sketch file, everything works fine. If I create an additional page in the same file and run it there, all the artboards will be positioned randomly and overlap each other.

Blurry/distorted Icons

After running the plugin the icons of smaller size are blurry/distorted, see the image below.

Artboards are overlapping if it's not the first page of Sketch document

I just installed current version of plugin into Sketch 39.1. I have an icon artboard sized at 1024 x 1024. I selected it and ran the plugin. All artwork is created but groups ar on top of each other. They are exported that way as well.

Notification 20pt size

Hey There - First off, thanks for making this super helpful plugin!

xCode now has a place for a 20pt icon ("iPhone notification, iOS 7 - 10"). I don't see a 20pt in the export sizes. I'm not sure when they added this requirement. For the time being I put the 24pt icon in it's place, but I do get a warning from xcode that the size is incorrect.

Can you add this as an export size?

Asset Catalog -> [email protected] is 72x72 but should be 60x60
Asset Catalog -> [email protected] is 48x48 but should be 40x40
