We are planning to add theming in this app. Just need to add a UI for it. The app already has the capability

Use PropType library

React has moved the PropType to a separate library

Support auto updating

That might be a really awesome thing to implement 😄 Would make the update process smooth as butter ^_^

Rant in Rant View is not scrollable

Only comments are scrollable. Long rants must be scrollable as well

Show Tags in Rants

Rants doesn't load in dev mode when opening for the first time

This is a major one.

Steps to reproduce:

Now run npm run dev and when it opens for the first time, it keeps loading.

RantScript supports this. Need to add it in app.

Upload editorconfig for common code style

A lot of editors support .editorconfig files. VSCode, Atom, Sublime Text. Might be a good idea to set one up and upload it too so the editor automatically uses the correct settings for indentation and stuff like that.

Reply Button on comment containers

(Unless I'm missing it) it would be nice to be able to click reply on someone's comment opposed to having to type @username in the reply input. A lot of space in the lower right-hand side of the container to the right of the voting UI to fit it in without cluttering it. Even the standard reply arrow would be sufficient to keep it minimal.

Reply button adds two spaces between @mentions

Looks like each @mention adds a space before and after the string, meaning that you get two spaces in between.

Quality of Life change I guess ^^

I also have an issue with sort by 'Top' that always shows 'All' and 'Day','Week' and 'Month' doesn't work ( They work on stories page but not on rants page)

In package.json link to installed electron rather than global

In package.json you can link to node_modules/.bin/electron rather than just electron. That will make it so we don't have to have electron installed globally.
