Yeah i think we can just hardcode it for now as you suggest. We'll have to update the code to reflect new contributors but there aren't many of us so that will be easy. We can come up with something more sophisticated down the road if needed

Was thinking about https://github.com/all-contributors/all-contributors, but then thought it will be too restrictive.
Some community members will want to contribute in some other ways than "code", such as promoting/helping with events/talks/etc...
Tips for people who want to try this one out. Create a section "Contributors" and write a quick description of what people did something like that:
