Calling setItems doesn't clear previous rows

Calling setItems a second time doesn't clear rows generated by a previous call. BeanTable's override of setDataProvider calls reset, which in turn calls createRow and then addRow, but the rows generated by the previous call are not first removed.

Calling setDataProvider with a new provider also doesn't clear the old items.

If I precede the call to setItems with

myBeanTable.dataProvider.refreshAll()

I see that it calls the reset(false) method in BeanTable.java, setting bodyElement text to "" and reseting rows list, but the rendering doesn't remove the old rows.

Cannot style row

I am trying to "highlight" - change the background color - of a row in the table that is in error. I can style individual cells of the row in error, using the cell renderer, but am not clear on an approach for highlighting the entire row. Any thoughts on this? Perhaps I'll need to use javascript, as opposed to a pure CSS solution? Any pseudo-code to accomplish this is appreciated. Thanks.

Also, it would be nice to be able to access the Column's list, once it's been created.
