sessionchooser's Issues

Use a pointer array instead of a singly-linked list for storing sessions

Currently, a singly-linked list is used for storing sessions. This list is then sorted -- but retrieving a session with a certain name still takes O(n) because of glib's implementation of the find operation. Also, fetching the n-th element takes O(n) as well.

This can be optimized by using a sorted pointer array. Retrieving the n-th element only takes O(1) and one can find a certain named session using binary search, i. e. in O(log n) (sadly, glib does not implement this for pointer arrays, I will need to implement this myself).

See http://developer.gnome.org/glib/2.34/glib-Pointer-Arrays.html for more information on glib's pointer arrays.
