Express Rest Api

Built using the following Javascript components:

• Express - Web framework
• body-parser - Node.js body parsing middleware.
• mysql - Node.js driver for mysql
• piping - Live code reloading without additional binaries

Sample Database Setup

CREATE DATABASE `todo`;

USE `todo`;

CREATE TABLE `todo`.`todo_list` ( `id` INT NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT ,
`name` VARCHAR(100) NOT NULL ,
`date` TIMESTAMP NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP ,
PRIMARY KEY (`id`)) ENGINE = InnoDB;

Installation

$ git clone https://github.com/teamsoo/express-rest-api.git
$ cd express-rest-api
$ npm install
*At this point you can run `node app.js` to test GET request at `http://localhost:4040/todo/`.*
