rdb's Issues

Early abort

I would suggest that each Decoder method have a single 'error' return value so that the decoding logic is able to early abort. For large rdb dumps this would be very useful.

Use of binary.LittleEndian as opposed to binary.BigEndian

Hi, I'm a newcomer to Go, but I noticed that in encoder.go, EncodeExpiry() uses little-endian byte ordering to write an 8 byte long integer. I may be wrong, but shouldn't Big-Endian ordering be used here as it is the accepted network order?

Add Info

I try wirte a tool base your code to analyze the redis key's size. But current interface of Decoder have no Info like the origin redis-rdb-tools does.

Any chance to add the Info?

Missing License

The exact license of "crc64/crc64.go" is undefined. It seems safe to assume this was copied and pasted from elsewhere and based on the copyright holder, also seems safe to assume this is covered under the Vitess license. If this is the case, could you include a copy of the vitess license file and update the header to point at this file instead of LICENSE (which is MIT).
