run caching and performance?

I got here via https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.details.20053.deduplicator.html, which has a review that notes:

Once you get it working, it works extremely slowly, literally several days of processing, and if it's interrupted, it starts all over again.

Can the readme be updated with a performance benchmark so folks have an idea of what to expect, and does this extension perform run-caching, so it doesn't "Start from zero" but just resumes for catalog entries it hasn't checked? (if not, is that's something that be added?)

I'm currently using Duplicate Photo Finder outside of LR, with a script that patches the LR catalog sqlite file after duplicates get removed, but it's a pretty crappy workflow.

Plugin not showing up

What you've done step-by-step

Installed plugin via download, plugin manager.
Put in custom folder, with other (working) plugins path is C:\Users\Photo\Pictures\catalogue lightroom\Plugins externes

Plugin absent. I do see it in the plugin manager, installed and running, green dot. Help/Plugin extras is OK for checking updates for deduplicator.
But File/Plugin Extras shows only my other plugin (MIDI2LR)

Please don't forget to attach Deduplicator.log file present in your Documents folder(present since 1.0.0.100007).
Please note: Deduplicator.log could contain some information related to your system including but not limited to:

• OS version W10
• OS architecture x64
• CPU cores amount 16 (2 sockets Xeon X5687)
• RAM size 24GB
• Display details such as resolution 30inch NEC (25601600) + 19 inch NEC (12001600)
• Filesystem paths to images processed by Deduplicator
  N:\Pictures\Photos
  You could always check Deduplicator.log file and mask all the data you think is sensible or private.

Please check Deduplicator.log each time you're creating an issue!
