No 404 notice?

If I visit a page that doesn't exist, I don't get the familiar 404 notice. I'm sure this could be somewhat confusing for the average user. Example: http://2017.texascamp.org/sessions

Each page should fill the viewport.

Improve responsive styles

• polish footer spacing on small screens

If I submit a session proposal, I don't get redirected to a confirmation page with a success message. Also, do you think it would be good to add *s on the required fields and not allow a submit until the required fields are populated?
