open-file-command README

adds the command open-file-command.openFile which can be used to open any file with a keyboard shortcut.

How to Use

Add a a keyboard shortcut:

The args take in a path, line number (optional), and cursor position (optional). The path should be absolute.

vscode-open-file-command's Issues

Doesn't work in empty workspace

Opening a file doesn't work unless the current tab is the editor with a file already open.
It doesn't work in an empty workspace, or if the current tab is a Settings page, Extension page, etc.

The error is: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'document')
