Nested double quote breaks the sintax highlight

Describe the bug
The syntax highlighting is broken when there are nested double quote. This an example of what happen

To Reproduce

Copy this simple line of code inside a valid template
<script type="text/javascript" async src="<%= assetPath("js/load_css.js") %>"></script>

Expected behavior
The syntax highlight should mange the two nested "

OS: Linux

Syntax highlighting does not discriminate based on whitespace surrounding keywords

Describe the bug
Keywords are highlighted with no regard to spacing around them.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

write <%= forum %> in a html document with this plugin enabled
Watch as for of forum is highlighted
Expected behavior
No highlighting should occur.
