Stone Dust texture very hard to see

Using default resource pack, Stone dust is very hard to see as it's almost the same color as inventory backgrounds.

Flint Saw Requires Treated Stick

Version: Alpha 8
Issue: The flint saw requires treated sticks vice regular sticks. To my knowledge you can't obtain creosote oil this early in the game. Checked the advancements to make sure I wasn't skipping a step.

Coke Oven progress bar does not reset

After starting to cook something via the Coke Oven, if you remove the item, the progress bar continues as normal (instead of resetting) until the progress bar finishes.

Steel plate texture

Would it be possible to get make the steel plate texture a bit darker, or a border? Its a bit hard to see in JEI recipe for crusher.

Utilize stripped wood instead of planks (and possibly stripped wood slabs for the bottom 3)

Coke Oven fuel usage

1 coal does not cover 1 wood for charcoal. Not sure if this is intended, it gets to what looks like 99% and requires something else to finish.

Crusher consumes bucket (fuel)

When feeding a Crusher creosote oil (bucket), the bucket is consumed. This is unlike all the other machines (furnace), which leave an empty bucket in the fuel slot.

Plates can be created by lower tier hammers

Plates can be created by lower tier hammers. Due to hammers being crafted with ingots vice plates, you should only be able to go down in tier (diamond hammer make bronze plate) not up.

Tool durability checked before block action

When using an axe on wood, if the durability changes to 0, the block isn't updated.

Example: Breaking stone with a pickaxe. Pickaxe has durability of 1. Use pickaxe on Stone. Pickaxe breaks at the end of the animation. Stone breaks.

Breaking wood with an axe (hatchet). Hatchet has durability of 1. Use axe on wood. Axe breaks at the end of the animation. Wood doesn't break.

I noticed all the SHOVEL variables end in lower case L, not sure if that was intended and/or would cause any issues.

Sawmill crash, NullPointerException: Ticking block entity

Was testing the blocks, added the Sawmill and game crashed.

Requesting a machine that turns logs into planks (and maybe also stripped logs). This could use saw blades (possibly tiered for durability).

Copper Ore -> Gold Dust

Copper Ore gives Gold Dust when broke with a Flint Hammer.

Coal dont work in crusher but still needs a hammer

Not sure if this is intended, but theres no way to automate coal ore crushing

Wood Logs and Wood Planks have same burn rate.

Wood Logs and Wood Planks have the same burn rate of 1.5 items.

[Request] Backpack Difficulty Increase

Currently medium and large backpacks are very easy to craft.

Steel Block cannot be split

Steel block cannot be split back into ingots.

Bronze Pick hardness

Bronze Pick is able to break Silver Ore yet not Gold Ore. Following progression, Bronze should not be able to break silver.

Sleeping causes server crashes

Version: Closed Alpha 3

Issue: Sleeping while other users are connected (not sure if it will crash if they're sleeping too) causes a server crash.
