Header Image for Project list page

Sorry this isn't really an issue but I don't know how else to reach you.

Is there a customization option for adding a header image like in the demo? When I removed the name of the projects list page, I was left with a HUGE blank space between the site name and the project list. Is this how it's supposed to look? I can't find any options for a banner image.

Or do I need to create a child's theme to make these changes?

social buttons are gone.. ?

Thanks for really great theme. There is one issue that I am having and that is with the footer and social buttons. After I added my links all the buttons disappeared? Is there a glitch in the code, or what do you recommend to fix this matter. Thanks

PS. I also copied function.php from this site, and the buttons remain gone?

Pine "Project List" template not loading more projects when filtering?

I have a slight problem. In Project List template, when you select any other option than "All" in the project type filter right under the page header, you only get to see project of that type from the page you are on. And when you move to the next page, you are reset back to "All".

So if you have for example project types "Monochrome" and "Color" (for photographers) and want to browse only trough monochrome, you have to set the filter again every time you move to next page.
Also this kind of breaks the layout. I imagine most people would be set to let's say 3x3 grid so they have nice block of 9 projects per page, but when you filter one project type, you'll get most likely only one or two projects in last row.

Is there any chance some sort of ajax loading could be implemented? So when user would filter just one project type, they would still get 3x3 (or whatever I set) grid? Or is there any way I could implement this myself? I am not really PHP savvy, but if there is some plugin or workaround, I could work with that.

Images in Projects appearing right aligned

No matter what size or alignment I select for the media I insert in a projects post, the image always appears with more spacing on the left than the right. In the demo they do not appear this way. It seems fine on small device sizes but not at full width desktop screen. I can fix this in the CSS but I want to make sure there isn't some option in the wp admin that I am missing.

My earlier issue- regarding the banner image- I resolved by adding a featured image to the portfolio posts page. I assume that was what I was supposed to do?
