Build artifacts are burried in a deep folder structure

The current CI workflow archives the artifacts directly from their location in the build directory. This results in a zip file with many subfolders. It would be nice to copy the files to the root directory first and zip them afterwards so that the resulting zip file contains all artifacts directly in the "root" of the zip file.

Simplify CI workflows and CMakeLists.txt

The current state at commit 0b686ed could be a perfect template for future plugins.
To make it easier to derive new projects from this, it would be useful to supply the binary names / project names as variables in the CMakeLists.txt and the github actions *.yaml. That way, the multiple occurances of the same strings in both of these files could be reduced and new projects could be started by simply changing the value of a single variable.
