gp2040-projects's Issues

OSBMX JLCPCB emailed me about concerns with printing

JLCPCB sent me an email regarding an order I placed for 40x of the 30mm OSBMX housings. I've attached a screenshot of the email.

I'm not entirely sure how I should reply to the email since I don't know too much about 3D printing.

Complaint - JLC errors

Twitter user complains that JLC gave them multiple warnings when attempting to print the 30mm buttons in 9000R resin due to sprue thickness.

Z height of buttons is tall compared to Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons

I’d love to have a variant of these assemblies where the MX switches themselves sit lower, even if it means the lower housing is taller. With Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons, the button tops sit flush in Z with the lower assembly when fully depressed. I feel like the buttons on yours just stick up way too high, I’d love it if they sat about 1.5 to 2mm lower. I’m using Cherry MX Speed Silver switches.

Issue - sprues too narrow for Choc v1 buttons

Looking to get some of the choc v1 buttons printed at JLCPCB, and they've come back requesting an increase in the sprue diameter - increased to 1.5mm for more reliable printing:

As shown below, the connections of the models are too small and thin , so there will be high risk of broken and lost during production ...
... could you please kindly increase the connections to 1.5 mm for better print effect ?

I noticed in #11 that you increased the sizes to 1.5mm - if you could do the same for these it would be appreciated :D

Thanks dev!
