Contributing

The source is covered by the AGPL v3. I welcome all contributions.

The goal of this project is to make a flashcard app as frictionless as possible that can be used by a 6-year-old. All new features must be compatible with that goal. If you want to add features that go the opposite way, you are welcome to fork this project.

Synchronization uses the Application Data folder in Google Drive.

Spaced repetition algorithm

If you know the answer, the interval is multiplied by K, if not it is divided by K². Currently K = 2.

aleth's Issues

Add a menu

Put non essential features (synchronization, add new card, edit card, dashboard, …) in a menu to keep the main area clean.

Easily add images to cards

Ideas:

• support markdown
• support latex for math expressions
• make it easy to embed images

Add ability to see all cards

Add a dashboard to see and edit all cards.
This dashboard may be hidden behind a secret link at first.

Make it prettier

I've done my best but my designing abilities are quite limited.
I welcome all ideas to make the app prettier.

Add favicon

Create a nice logo for the app.

Doesn't work on chrome android

On chrome android, some post requests (creating a new card for instance) are not processed by the service worker and fail.

Everything seems fine on chrome desktop or on firefox (both desktop and android).

Add ability to delete cards

This must play well with synchronization (we don't want deleted cards to be restored at the next synchronization).
