Licence needed

Hi Thomas,

Are you able to add a licence to the project? We would really like to use this plugin as it is recommended by Moodstocks (https://github.com/Moodstocks/moodstocks-phonegap-plugin) and works well.

We are hesitant to implement this plugin as there is currently no document setting out the licence (e.g. MIT, BSD etc)

navigator.camera.getPicture issue

Using the Cordova Android version 4.1.1 I have now have a problem whereby the Success and Fail callbacks for the function navigator.camera.getPicture no longer get called.

The scanner works as expected - but for some reason I cannot retrieve the image URI, or any response from the callback.

I have tested this with the plugin and then without, every-time the plugin is removed the navigator.camera.getPicture function works again as expected.

Any ideas? This is fairly urgent (as most things are!)

A word of warning to all- Moodstocks 4 SDK no longer supported

Having completed our App using this plugin and distributing to the App Stores, our client attempted to purchase a Moodstocks subscription to increase the image allowance. We were informed that Moodstocks are no longer supporting their legacy product and they're focused on their new product which is now available in Alpha https://moodstocks.com/.

Annoyingly, the Moodstocks website was still accepting signups for their legacy product up until very recently and there was no mention of the discontinuation of their legacy product. We are in talks with Moodstocks to come to an agreement.

As a potential fallback, there is now a working cordova plugin for Vuforia https://github.com/thisisbd/cordova-plugin-vuforia. I have tested this myself and can confirm it works on both iOS and Android. The only caveat is it does not support cloud databases so image targets must be stored on-device, meaning an App update is required to update image recognition targets.

iPad full screen scanning issue

Hi,
So far i have the entire install working on IOS.

I had to edit the .xib to make the camera window full screen on the iPad. This works.
The problem i have now is that the camera is working full screen in portrait mode but the iPad is in landscape mode.

How can i make the camera work in landscape?

Unable to install into Ionic project

I've installed the plugin fine on iOS using the latest version of ionic however the installation instructions for Android do not seem to apply any more. For a start, Eclipse is no longer supported. Is it possible to use this plugin with Ionic? I believe Cordova now uses Gradle to build for Android.

Fully-offline bundles for iOS

Hey,

We have not yet implemented fully-offline bundles for iOS. This is coming soon and we foresee no difficulties. If you need this now, please get in touch.

Is this still the case? We may be looking to use this in the coming months,

Support for latest Phonegap

Hi there,

Just checking if this plugin has support for the latest Phonegap version? The current minimum supported version for this plugin is no longer accepted by Google Play due to security issues.

iOS Support

Hi @thomasforth,

I'm willing to make the iOS support, do you have more information about that? How long it could take?

File input no longer works

When I add this plugin to my cordova app (Meteor) and try to select an image with an input element the menu to select an image comes up and all, but the input stays empty afterwards. This only happens on mobile and after that any input elements with the type of "file" are unusable.

To test if this plugin was really the problem I did the following:

• I made a new Meteor project
• I added the plugin with meteor add cordova:com.moodstocks.phonegap@https://github.com/thomasforth/MS4Plugin/tarball/00d255d481be0e4577ed78ae68f6c1ae6f9ee83f
• I copied a cordova override folder from a previous project which contains the files that need to be edited according to the installation instructions, and only those files
• I gave the project a name and id in the mobile config so the folder names would match with the override folder
• I added <input type="file"> to the HTML

Full screen scanner container issue on larger resolutions

Hi,

After installing the plugin, the scanner preview container is full screen on a smaller iPhone 5, however on the iPhone 6 the scanner preview page has white blocks on the right side and bottom. Is there a way to fix this?

I have checked through the CSS, HTML, JS etc, but cant seem to find a way to set the preview full screen.

Android install error

I have an issue with the Android install. I have followed your example video to the letter, but I’m still getting an error. I have attached a screen shot to see if you have any ideas around this?

It is having issues with the cordovafragment.java – I’m not sure if this is due to a new Android API, or the newer cordova version?

Attempting this in Eclipse Mars 1, with Android 5.1.1 and the latest Cordova.
