I have install and activated Plugin GAPP Essential but when i want to login using GAPP Android client always show that gapp essentials must be installed and active.

Gapp version: 2.1.0 GLPI version: 10.0.1 Gapp Essentials version: 2.0.1

Device: Poco X3 NFC OS: Android Ver 11

Any solution for this?

Hola, nuevamente he realizado todo el proceso que me comentan, me percate de que ya habian realizado la actualizacion de la app de gapp y la del gapp essential, sin embargo sigo teniendo los mismo incovenientes, no se que sea lo que sucede.
me marca los mismo.

ya actualice la version del essential y del gapp, solo que con la app al momento de abrirla como que se atora y tengo que borrar los datos del cache y es ahi cuando me permite abrir la app y me aparece las politicas.

y me percate de esto no se si me tenga algo que ver

Problem of connection with GLPI 9.5.3

Hello

I have a problem since I updated my GLPI server, from version 9.5.1 to 9.5.3, unable to reconnect to the server by the GAPP application.

I have tested with a basic user type "glpi / glpi", and it works.

So I deduced that this comes from the fact that we go through a mail server to connect to GLPI.

We therefore go through our mail server which is at Google Workspace (formerly Gsuite), and so here is our connection procedure on the web version:

• username: user's email address
• password: an application password generated in the Google account (different from the main password)
• choice of connection mode: via the Google profile which therefore allows you to go through our mail server rather than through the internal GLPI database

When we apply the application ID and password in GAPP, we have a username or password error

Let me add again, with the version of GLPI in 9.5.1, the connection worked fine. We tested from smartphones running Android 10 and Android 11, and it's exactly the same problem

Can you see what it is and tell me if there is a solution?

new version 2.2.0 does not load images[Feature]

In this new version, technicians are not able to view the images attached by applicants within the GLPI. When clicking on the file the image does not load and when trying to download the file is not downloaded. Follow application images

In the attached image we can see how the application behaves when clicking on the file that was attached to the call.

I'm starting to install for test Android App Version 1.4.0-Selfservice.
Configuration of URL server is ok, protocole is https
then when i'm trying to connect just after the credential my phone screen goes black and the App stop running after few seconds

On the server side I can see in the logs that I'm tried to connect from IP XXX.XXX.XX...

I 've tested from another phone and that the same issue.

Any Idea ?

Hi...I had successfully configured API and installed the app on android mobile ..Able to log in ....but no ticket is visible there ...it shows an error message as " Requested range not satisfiable :response with content range denied"....But i m able to create ticket via mobile app and its visible on web log in ...in mobile app above error shows every time and no ticket is visible.Your help and guidance would be appreciated.

Ao acessar o ticket e tentar alterar o status, é apresentado na tela a mensagem Not Found

Ya realice el procedimiento para configurar pero aun asi sigo teniendo el mismo problema no me deja.
Lo primero que hice fue descargar el plugin del mercado ahora tengo la version

HI,
we use GAPP since 2 years ago, and since we have moved our server on a new hosting platform, we can't connect by the application GAPP.
I verify all parameters, API in GLPI and account in Gapp application, and i always have the same message, see attached (in french)

I try to test this by the the Glpi Api Tool express 1.0.0, and it's the same thing.

I'm blocked, and if you can halp me, it will be nice.

Hi, i just install your Gapp application for my GLPI server, and the first thing i wan't to say is "Thanks", because it's a very usefull app.

So, i have a problem, when i wan't to add a document/photo, i click on the button "Photo", but nothing else, the Photo app don't open. I verify the authorization on Android, and it's OK... I kill app for reconnect, same thing. I see an other thing, is that the "Max file size limit is "unknow", perhaps there's a link.

Selection of "Requester" and "Assigned to" on ticket creation

I would like to take into consideration that when creating a new ticket, once the corresponding entity was selected, gave the option to choose the Requester and did not put by default the user (in this case would be a technician) who has the session initiated in the app. And the same case with what would be the assigned technicians (not only the user who uses the app), and even the Watcher .

In this way it would be useful if you have a nomadic helpdesk, which goes around the world opening tickets, could be assigned to the real requester at the moment, so that for example, the next level of support was the one that would charge the ticket.

So we have to enter in our phone's config, and change the all system language back to our native.

DNS is not flushed/up to date

We have GLPI running on an internal network with a firewall redirecting access to the machine from the internet. From the external network, the domain name points to the public IP. On the internal network, the local DNS points to the internal IP address of the GLPI instance.

When the client is on the internal network, GAPP is still trying to connect to the public IP.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Disable Wifi -> external network
2. Enter username and password in GAPP, and press login
3. GAPP is logged in, logout
4. Enable Wifi -> internal network
5. Enter username and password in GAPP, and press login
6. GAPP gives an error:
   Errir
   Error 005-1420135 -> failed to connect to [domain name as configured]/[External IP] (port [port number] from /[internal IP of the client] (port [client port]) after 5000 ms

Expected behavior

The expected behavior is that GAPP will use the local IP resolution when on the local network.

Problem to connect with cas authentication

I have a glpi instance v9.5.9
The authentication is done with a cas server (apereo) and user informations come from an ldap server.
Everything works well when i connect to https://glpi.xxxxx.fr even if i bypass the cas authentication with https://glpi.xxxxx.fr/?noCAS=1 to use a ldap authentication.

But i is impossible to connect with your Android version :( i have the message : "cookie getter, redirect loop detected"

I already used older version of your gapp and it was working,but the latest version doesn't work

Do you know this issue ? Is there a solution to make the gapp working ?

Widget Feature Suggestion for Android Smartphones

I would like to contribute a feature suggestion to the Gapp.

Widgets for Android Smartphones are very useful, I believe that a widget that allows you to view the number of new calls, assigned, pending and planned calls as a shortcut on the android screen would be amazing!

Hi @caturputra,

We have added a new feature to Gapp to help any user having problems with the server connection.

This feature have been included in version 2.1.1 (0000275) of Gapp and enables a new screen to help diagnose server connections.

To open this screen you have to:

• Go to settings screen.
• Long-press the "about" icon.

• Go to the new option "Selftest".
• Enter your credentials.

Remember that you must set the server address before using this function.

Gapp 1.4.1 apk

.Does anybody have a secure link to download teg Gapp version 1.4.1?
I probe the 2.0 and doesn't work for me, but the old version is still working for the technician that doesnt upgrade. Unfortunately I couldn't found a secure link to download and downgrade to the previous version of Gapp.
Please help me whit a link or the apk file.

Hola, estoy probando la herramienta Gapp y estoy teniendo inconvenientes para acceder al servidor.

La configuración de la API es correcta porque mediante CURL logro conectarme y que me genere una session-token.

Para este caso, desde el mismo servidor y desde un servidor diferente ejecuto lo siguiente:

He revisado los diferentes logs que genera GLPI y tampoco encuentro nada.

GLPI está instalado en Debian 9 mediante Apache2.

Agradecería cualquier ayuda.

List All tickets except those assigned to another users of the group

It will be more helpfull to easily see "all tickets" except those that are "currently in process by a person of the group". For example if there is a group of 20 people, each person is self-assigned the ticket that will be handled by him/her, so every other people of the group knows that this ticket is currently in-progress (like by a telephone call). Another example is the filtering of all tickets that are not assigned to any person of the group.

Some solutions could be:

• Showing the assigned user in the "All Tickets"
• Creating a new category, like "Assigned tickets to others"

when uploading files or photos using the application, there is no option to delete this file.
The web version is also funny, as the delete button is transparent, almost invisible.

Is this adjustment possible?

Hola. la versión de glpi se actualizó de 9.4.4 a la versión 10.0.0, anteriormente en la versión de la app funcionaba bien sin ningún problema, para actualizar a la nueva versión se cambió el servidor de ubuntu a windows y la También se cambió la IP del servidor, lo único que se hizo fue exportar la base de datos e instalar el glpi en windows, se mantuvo toda la información y demás configuraciones, solo se cambió la IP del resto de api e intentar hacer la conexión al celular pero me manda errores que aun no se como solucionar si alguien me pudiera apoyar se los agradecere infinitamente.
Actual mente realice una instalacion de cero con la version 10.0.3 del glpi y ni asi puedo ingresar la url que utilizo ahora para pruebas es local y trato de concectar mi telefono a la nueva version del app y solo me devuelve errores mencionados pero por ejemplo si lo hago con la version anterior de app si puedo ingresar. De hecho en el registro aparece que inicie sesion pero sin abrir la app .
Algunos de los errores que me marca la aplicación.

Error al conectar Gapp a GLPI

Al intentar conectar Gapp a mi servidor GLPI me presenta el siguiente error:

Ya he configurado la conexión en la aplicación, Protocolo: http y la IP de mi servidor.

Cannot add followup on tickets via mobile app

Hi Oscar...As a followup on to previous issue....Now i m able to log in and view the tickets...but i m getting below error every time ....also i cannot add followup as it shows error as below screenshots...But i can add solution and close the ticket if i ignore 'Document permission error"...This error coming up regardless of the tickets have documents or not.

Whenever I take a photo using the smartphone camera using the Gapp, the image seen in the Gapp is normal, but when I view it in the Glpi Web, whether horizontal or vertical, it is distorted and stretched.

I'm using Glpi 10.0.3 and Gapp 1.4 on my Android 12.

Since our upgrade to version 10.0.4-dev, the GAPP application displays the error concerning CVE-2022-35914 and CVE-2022-35947.

We would like the application to detect that our version of GLPI is above version 10.0.3

A return to version 10.0.3 fixes the problem.

can't open the application

It is impossible for me to open the application after connection
i made several trials with other accounts :

• my colleague with the same profile as mine : same effect
• the admin account of glpi : it's works
  so it's not a network problem, neither a server configuration but user configuration

i made some trial using the api rest with postman : no problem with my account/credential to access and use the api.

so is there anything special to have on our profile ?
we've got severals entities, and a authentication based on ldap
i try with a wrong password, and i could not connect , normal
i try with the good password, and instead of having the windows with the tickets list , the app close without message

we try on two differents phone, with two different OS, and same result
GLPI version : 9.2.1
