I looked into it but I didn't found a way to provide realtime support.
If you have 2 screens it might help if you undock the dev tools: it updates when the dev tools panel focus changes.

The other moment of updating is when you switch from DOM node.

Another problem with the realtime updating is that the sidebar panel constantly collapses.
