Python driver for the Advanced Microfluidics AVM rotary valve

rvm_valve

Python driver for the Advanced Microfluidics OEM AVM rotary valve. This driver might also work with the Elveflow microfluidic distribution valve (MUX) which internally uses the same hardware.

Installation

It is recommended to create and activate a virtual environment before installation.

pip install rvm-valve

Todo

• add proper handling of responses from valve with method _handle_reply()
• make get_valve_position() method functional
• test whether the driver works with Elveflows MUX
• write port autodetection function
