Invalid number of point weights stored, please compute again the harmonic weights In maya 2024

Hello sir, thank you very much for sharing this deformer. I've encountered an issue: After compiling your plugin in the Maya 2024 environment, no matter what I do, when I click the "compute harmonic weight" button and then move the cage mesh, it keeps giving me the error message "Invalid number of point weights stored, please compute again the harmonic weights." I've tried to learn some Maya API knowledge and printed the value of "nPoints," and I found that it always stays at 0. I've recorded my actions as a GIF, but I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, and I'm not certain if you are still maintaining this plugin. Could you please take a look and help me identify the issue? Looking forward to your reply.
