Example Playbook

Including an example of how to use your role (for instance, with variables passed in as parameters) is always nice for users too:

- name: "Deploy Openresty to {{ play_hosts }} static servers"
  hosts: web
  become: true
  tags: play:web
  environment: "{{ deploy_env_vars | default({}) }}"
  tasks:

    - name: Disable Healthcheck monitor on a server
      changed_when: false
      iptables:
        chain: INPUT
        protocol: tcp
        destination_port: "{{ item }}"
        jump: DROP
        state: present
      with_items:
        - "80"
        - "443"

    - include_role:
        name: deploy.openresty
        apply:
          tags: role:deploy.openresty
      tags: role:deploy.openresty
