Typically whenever a developer has a game open sourced like this one might think that we're trying to get out of some work by recuiting help from the community and while we're going to plead the 5th on that particular point I think there's also the fact that we wanted the world to know that behind the scenes of this game there's quite a bit of nonsense and mistakes as well as a touch of genius that might make you think about programming diffferently.

Stats and leaderboards [REQUEST]

Love the game so far, but it would be really cool to have a bunch of leaderboards that track lifetime kills, deaths, etc. In addition, when I try to edit update text, i am unable to delete any of my old files, it only clears it but the entry still remains.

Force Teams [REQUEST]

it would be great if we could force characters to make teams, i hope that this could be added soon

Pause

-Game is pausable multiple times
-If this happens, game will not continue upon depausing, forcing a restart (Speed is set to 0x in the new game menu)

Players should be able to create/delete events

Game Setting Off Anti-Virus

I've had the game since August 2016. I decided to go with Bitdefender Anti-Virus recently and for some reason, it is blocking Ultimate Arena saying it's a malicious application. Does anyone know what could be setting it off and has this happened with anybody else with their antivirus?

Multiple issues

  1. When not playing fullscreen, the game window is permanently locked into the center of the screen and cannot be moved. Very minor but annoying that the bottom of the screen is cropped by the task bar.

  2. Steam Workshop items are not showing up unless I manually transfer the folders over, it can get annoying when updating a lot of characters.

  3. Even more minor, editors still aren't available in full screen. It's been a long time, shouldn't there be something?

Wrong number of arguments for function buffer_get_surface

I'm getting the following error:

Object: obj_maptest Event: Create at line 51 : wrong number of arguments for function buffer_get_surface

buffer_get_surface(hBuff, heightSurf,0,8,0);

The third parameter should be the offset, so I'm wondering why there are 3 params following the surface param as opposed to just the offset and how to correct this.

Pause Function Broken?

I was playing the game and paused it so I could read the sudden influx of updates that were happening in-game. When I tried to unpause it, it did nothing. I hit every single button on the bar, but nothing happened. Doesn't always happen, just from time to time. Hope this gets fixed, or maybe I'm just dumb and someone could tell me what I was doing wrong.

Mark Fighters

Players should be able to mark fighters so they will be easier to track on the map

Crash Bug

Probably has already been mentioned however there is a game crashing bug by simply clicking the "Graph" button (apologies can't remember the actual name, where the game crashes and displays:

Care Packages And Depth + Small Tweaks

I have been loving the game so far but it has been lacking some depth, if you could make it so that when looking at a character stats in game you can see what they have on them it would be great, also make them interested in care packages. They always seem to walk right by them, alongside that could you add a notification like the kills that tells you what they have gotten from a care package please. Another thing I wanted to address is resizing of the map, player list, updates window, ect. That would be pretty helpful. Thank you!

Game not updating

My game has not updated to receive the new features of the game. I'm assuming you've released the update because of the language you used when you made the message announcing it. Just message or @ me on Discord once you know the problem.

Weird bug

you guys know how when there is a arena event red circle to show where the event is happening at that area?, well it shrinks and then it goes large i wonder why it does that, and i cannot figure out a way how to solve the problem because it is hard, could you guys troubleshoot this thing for me?, i tried getting a screenshot but Steam wouldn't take one for the game, please troubleshoot this for me guys, thanks.

Expanded event editor?

Such as for adding/removing general events such as grouping and killings, will that be included eventually?

Custom Maps

Players should be able to make their own arenas instead of only relying on the randomly generated ones.

Crash During Quick Match

So I've been getting a crash message lately that appears randomly.

I've gotten this quite a few times and am wondering what could cause this and if it's been fixed.

Workshop Not Working

Not sure where else to put this, but my game on Steam is not pulling or uploading from the Workshop, so many of the characters I downloaded are gone.

Consistent Item System

I would like a consistent item system. A fighter can get a item and they will have it in their inventory. For example a fighter could get a bow and arrow and then they will actually use it.

NAMING ERROR character. Cannot delete

So I was editing some of my characters in the Editor and I noticed a new NAMING ERROR character. For some reason, the NAMING ERROR character will not delete from the editor list like it has all the other times I've had this error. No matter how many times I re-open the game, click delete or re-name the character, it's sticking out like a sore thumb in the character list.
