website's Issues

Add a continuous integration/delivery procedure

I believe that we could use the current script under "update" to run a simple CI build every time someone pushes a new commit and get an early notification when something breaks the website.

In the future, that might also mean we could use pull requests to update the code here and, as soon as the PR is merged successfully, a continuous delivery process could trigger http://3d.bk.tudelft.nl/update.

Action is not always reliable

It seems to be the case that sometimes jekyll build on the GitHub environment builds successfully, but the actual website update trigger fails.

It would be useful if we could get the response from the triggered update and show the result (success or failure) in the action. Alternatively, at least when the update fails we might just send an email from directly from the server to inform people that the build failed.

Additional links to the completed MSc projects

  1. Rename "thesis details" to "thesis", since it's linked directly to the PDF or the TU Delft repository.
  2. Add a second link "Journal paper" (and "Conference paper") for post-graduation publications where applicable.
