No Read instance
You can show money but not read it. This is presumably because the caller would have to decide what currency to read a string as before having read the symbol - such is the price of saving the need to keep the symbol in the RTS. The best you could do is immediately converting the read money to a format of the caller's choice. What do you think?
(Also Show instances are usually supposed to generate Haskell code. You could comply by printing the symbol before the number.)
