Renaming JSTwitter
to just Twitter
seems wrong somehow. Blogger
and Merchant
and EventManager
are all generic names, whereas Twitter
is not only specific, but probably also protected legally.
Wordoid came up with variants that sound very web 2.0 in the most ironic way possible (twittingly, twittorial, twittiness, twittmares), but they're hardly appropriate. Suggestions?

I kept thinking that JSL as a prefix would capture the Jumpstart Lab without being confused with JavaScript. But I love these changes.

The issue with JSL
is that it means classes would go in j_s_l_merchant.rb
, for example.

j_s_l_merchant.rb
Ouch.
Ok, how about MicroBlogger
?

I like that.

Do we need to rename things in the /source/academy
directory tree?
There are references to JSTwitter
in source/academy/sessions/20120312.markdown
and source/academy/curriculum/resources/Week 2/Day 1/02_01_opensourceplan.markdown

That's a @jcasimir question. I know next to nothing about anything in /source/academy
from curriculum.
The stuff in /academy needs a lot of focused revising in December/January. Don't bother with it for now, because it is probably getting reorganized anyway.

That makes sense. In that case, this can be closed when the repositories for Merchant
and MicroBlogger
have been moved and the pull requests for the name changes have been merged.
