Newline extreme slowdown (OS X, Yosemite)

Description

Hello, maybe it is related to #13.

Some heavy load routine is being executed on each new line when pressing ENTER, making it queue these executions, extremely slowing down newlines added. Could someone else confirm this issue?

System

• OS X Yosemite, Version 10.10.5 (14F1605);
• MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014).

Tab not working after install

The default tab key, indent feature not working after install. I'm using Release 1.2 build 1.2.0-15697 (release 8f82e2a97).

After I install the extension I wasn't able to tab/indent text in a .scss file.

Code hints leave blank line when using "enter" key to select hint

Love this extension for brackets however it only works when I click on the code hint rather than hitting the enter button when code hint box pops up and highlight correct hint. Any suggestions?

I need more help on how to install this extension

I've never installed an extension to Brackets. I've downloaded the zip file into my download directory on my Windows computer. I see the Show Brackets Extension menu item under Help in Brackets. I don't understand where to put files from the zip file onto my machine. I also don't understand where I should be running the npm commands you have in the readme file. Sorry for being dense, but can you please send the all the steps for integrating this into my Brackets setup. Thank you.

Properly capitalize WordPress

Not an actual issue, but I'd like to see WordPress spelled correctly, i.e. WordPress.

Broken in Brackets 44

The changes to main.js in commit bc2fec broke Brackets-WP-Hint. Reverting just those two lines fixed it for me and it’s working again.

issue with phpmailer_init

if i want open php tag, "<?php", i got hint "phpmailer_init", so, when i want type "<?php" and go to new line, i type "<?phpmailer_init"

Hints show in CSS files

Error with current version 2.0.4

Hi, on Brackets 1.3.0 (Windows 8.1 // German) I'm getting the following error in the console:

[Extension] failed to load C:/Users/Alexander/AppData/Roaming/Brackets/extensions/user/brackets-wp-functions-hint - Error: Load timeout for modules: text!wp-func.txt_unnormalized2,text!wp-func.txt

I already reinstalled the module without luck ..

Latest version fails to install

I'm running Brackets 1.3 and tried updating to WP Hints v2.0.1 and receive an error when the extension tries to start up.

In the Brackets console it shows as this:

"[Extension] failed to load C:/Users/Trevor/AppData/Roaming/Brackets/extensions/user/brackets-wp-functions-hint - ReferenceError: lastLine is not defined"

Make Brackets work slow

[I'm not used to this site so I hope it is right to issue this?]

When I have this extension enabled it makes the editor work a bit slow. I use win8.1 When I disable the extension the editor work fast as it should. I know Brackets have problem with other extensions that makes it run slowly. So maybe it's nothing wrong with the extension?

Invalid function

While working on sanitizing a bunch of variables, I constantly get an invalid function before the valid one:

sanitize_text_fields()
sanitize_text_field()

There is no public sanitize_text_fields() function in WordPress.

This function gets suggested first, and I press Enter by habit and when I refresh the browser, I get errors everywhere:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function sanitize_text_fields()

UPDATE: This function’s access is marked private. This means it is not intended for use by plugin or theme developers, only in other core functions. It is listed here for completeness.

V4.0.1 really slows down newline in editor

First of all, thank you for your work on this extension.

An old problem seems to have come up again in V4.0.1. When you press return there is up to a 3-second lag until the cursor actually moves. I disabled this extension and the editor is snappy again. Replicated both on Windows 10 and Mac OS High Sierra, although it's worse on Windows.
