Matplotlib subplot loses axis during loop

Whilst looping over the two data arrays, the x axis is plotted from 0 -140 of what ever, rather than years.

In the Introduction to NumPy, some of the slides have too much content that goes out of bounds. They need to be broken down into smaller chunks.

The repo is built successfully on binder, but netCDF4 import crashes because jpeg version is 8* for some reason...
