HyperFlex Edge Policy Maker for Cisco Intersight (dCloud)

The HyperFlex Edge Policy Maker automates creation of HyperFlex policies in Cisco Intersight that can be used to deploy a Cisco HyperFlex Edge cluster.

The following types of HyperFlex policies are automatically created:

1. Cluster Network Configuration Policy
2. Node Configuration Policy (IP and Hostname)
3. Cluster Storage Configuration Policy
4. VMware vCenter Configuration Policy
5. System Configuration Policy (DNS, NTP and Timezone)
6. Local Credential Policy (Security)

Use Cases:

A modified version of the script in this repository is a part of the automation used to support and enable the following Cisco Data Center product demonstrations on Cisco dCloud which debuted at Cisco Live 2020 in Barcelona. These demos are now publicly available on Cisco dCloud in the RTP (US East) datacenter:

1. Cisco HyperFlex Edge 4.0 with Intersight v1 (All Flash, 2-Node)
2. Cisco HyperFlex Edge 4.0 with Intersight v1 (Hybrid, 2-Node)
