Favicon loading animation and blank area

When I use the native TST, every time I load a new tab, the loading animation is displayed. But I didn't figure out how to display the animation by modifying this CSS file.

In addition, for some tabs without a favicon, a blank area will appear, but the native TST may have a favicon, such as the "Add-ons and themes" page. I want to know why this is, or how to replace the blank area with a default icon.

Thank you so much.

Border through icon

Thank you for making this theme!

I get these lines across the fav-icon for version 108 on macOS and was hoping you could help fix them!

not faviconized webiste's favicon misplaced

图片

website that don't have favicon including firefox some about:* pages, their favicon misplaced.

i have done a clean reinstall for testing this.

  1. setup a new profile in about:profiles
  2. install tree style tab
  3. ublock expert options, copy & paste user.css
  4. the result was shown as image
  5. i have tested file in branch development

LibreWolf/Firefox 122.0
TreeStyleTab 3.9.20
Windows 11

I tried same on openSUSE-Tumbleweed(Linux) on Firefox 121/TST 3.9.19, looks nice.
But once I update them to Firefox 122/TST 3.9.20, it also break the style, cause both of them update today.
I havn't test it yet.

update: i download old 3.9.18 TST from github, the sytle is alson bronken, more likely related to firefox.
update again: i download firefox 119 from firefox ftp, it works well, so the style broken is owing to firefox updates.

Edge places the newly opened tab on top

Hello, I would like to ask, Edge can put the newly opened tab on the top, and the button for the new tab on the top, how does this need to be implemented?

Pinned tabs disappeared in Tree-Style-Tab

image

Pinned tabs disappeared from the top of Tree-Stye-Tab, left 2 gap rows, and I can't interact with pinned tabs.

What did I tried

  1. create a new profile from about:profiles and launch Firefox with it
  2. install Tree-Style-Tab add-on
  3. choose the "Proton" theme in Tree-Style-Tab setting
  4. paste the content of treestyletab-edge-mimicry.css to User Style Sheet in Tree-Style-Tab setting
  5. disable and re-enable the Tree-Style-Tab

btw, I did not touch the userChrome mods or about:config.

Version & Environment

  • Firefox 123.0.1
  • Tree-Style-Tab 4.0.1
  • Windows 11 23H2

Anyway, Thanks for sharing your work, it does help me ! 👍

Hide Tab Bar CSS Alternative

Hey, thanks for this project. It is very well done.

On my system, the hide tab bar CSS from the optional CSS mods does not work well. It seemingly just cuts off the top half of the tab bar. However, the following works perfectly for me:

#TabsToolbar {
    visibility: collapse;
}

Maybe you could add it as an alternative in the CSS mods folder, for those that cannot get the current hide tab bar CSS to work right.
