EditorConfig helps developers define and maintain consistent coding styles between different editors and IDEs. The EditorConfig project consists of a file format for defining coding styles and a collection of text editor plugins that enable editors to read the file format and adhere to defined styles. EditorConfig files are easily readable and they work nicely with version control systems.

@elf-pavlik are you still using matera.io for anything? me and @keikreutler are just planning some migration and consolidation of unmonastery hosting.

Testing Matera data on a different branch

• create a different branch for testing Matera gtfs
• Import fresh gtfs data for Matera.
• Change UI in order to make clear where data are missing/incomplete
• add Matera gtfs to gitignore

Add gtfs data as submodules

Gtfs data should be gitignored. I think the only exception could be Pavia data just because they are our "test" data.

As proposed by @fvitullo in #10, we could use grunt+submodules. We could integrate this script https://github.com/unmonastery/GtfsMaker in such a way that gtfs are built dynamically from OSM and Miccolis timetables.

reporting bus position (#crowdsourcing)

since miccolis doesn't share real time location of buses people can report their position on a bus so that others can see bus location!

GUI suggestions/guidelines

• make clear missing information (e.g. stop times) so that people can help adding data to OSM.
