Information for People Seeking Training in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy goes to a 404 page on the MAPS website. I tried Googling it and couldn't find a page from MAPS, but I did find this synopsis on the Psychedelic Health Professionals Network website.

We need more people to help with this repository.

Does anyone have any ideas on how we can attract more people to help with this? Perhaps post into relevant Reddit threads?

OSPAT logo

I apologize I missed the pull request that changed the OSPAT logo, but I think it's worth discussing.

The previous logo was this:

The current version is this:

(if you look close there are black words under the circle part of the logo)

I think a few discernment checks for choosing a logo should include:

• single or minimal colors
• easily identified symbols aligned with OSPAT theme
• no words in the primary logo (we could create other versions with words for use on print or elsewhere)

I personally like the previous version, but am open to discussion or new ideas.

Is the first milestone complete? What works are pending?

Defining "Framing" - about 7 years ago I made the statement on /r/psychonaut "it's not the picture, it's the frame" let me explain.

When you're tripping, it's common for your field of view to expand, you see out of your peripherals further and clearer. The same even applies in closed-eye-visual states. Sometimes you can have an OBE where the peripherals continually forever expand. What this does is it makes the picture that was once there in the middle, a tiny tiny view within the frame of what was there before. Meaning that if you were to think of art piece, say Picasso, then it becomes that it's more-so the surrounding environment that builds the beauty of the picture.

Similarly, "Framing" can also be used to refer to essentially listening to someone speak or reading a sentence about a story, or even hearing it second hand, you take out and take note of certain things within their statements and tend to pull out only what you attached to. Then when you pass the information, that they passed to you, onwards, then you end up re-framing what they said. And sometimes this can be good, sometimes this can be bad, sometimes (usually all the time) there are pros and cons within everything, as well as much much much more. But this is not the end of that process. Framing is infinite and eternal, a continuous chain of forever, passing through and paying it forward, or taking it back.

When someone hears the same story you heard, but they frame it differently than you, you should not be alarmed that they saw something different in it. This is framing in a nutshell, it is ultimately synchronistic (read: co-incident + meaningful - ie Bayesian Impact Theory) and dependent on your attachments. You can only do you.

Add videos, interviews, and articles to Core and Elective sections of curriculum.

The curriculum is incomplete. We need recommendations for additional content, especially articles, videos/lectures, and interviews that will help enhance student learning.

Push Access

Could I be granted push access please? Im trying to upload files into the course subject area, i.e. Word docs with images etc however github is saying that I need "push access" to do so.

Funding for development - need 100 stars on Github...

There is a platform called the Open Collective, it's a platform where you can list Open Source Projects and get funding. It's very cool as it's a directory and lots of NGO use it because it's open and transparent, it would be fantastic to get the OSPAT up there so we can get funds for advertising and time from experts in the field. The only barrier is that we need at least 100 stars to list the project. Any ideas how we can get there?

Discussion: Tracking progress and training completion

One day this may become a legitimate resource for therapists seeking a free, self led training option.

What open source solutions exist that would allow us to turn this into a training program that can track progress and automate a certificate of completion?

Link to multiple purchasing sources for all books.

All books listed in the curriculum should include as many sourcing options as possible for purchasing the books. Where available, minimum should include where students can buy on Amazon, MAPS store, and direct from the publisher.

Collect ISBN #’s for entire list.

We need to collect and confirm ISBN #’s for every book on the curriculum.
