Aah you're totally right about this. We use @sindresorhus/slugify to slugify and I think it removes non-ASCII characters. What you can do is supply a custom slug to fix this:

sites:
  - name: Google
    slug: google-example
    url: https://www.google.com

In the above example, slug will be used that you provided rather than trying to generate it from the title.

Many thanks for your reply, got correct result by setting slug configuration.

I noticed that Graphs CI seems still using slugify string as graph file path after setting slug (in commit 0ff1496), cause no graph shown in status page, and in action runs Graphs CI, git rejected push command because some conflict content, did I perform certain step incorrectly?

I'm having the same issue. It seems that this was fixed years ago in this commit upptime/graphs@aac906c but it is never put into use because no new versions of the package upptime/graphs have been released since then...
