adv360-demo-config's Issues

Difference between this zmk and mainstream zmk

I'm using this config and the zmk version behind it instead of Advantage 360 original config. It fixes a bug in the original Advantage version and has more capabilities (like Mouse) so I find it much better.
I noticed some strange difference.
The RCMD with this setup isn't caught by karabiner elements while the RCMD with the original Advantage config does.
In Karabiner Even Viewer both seem the same, so it probably means there are lower level details that differentiate the actual key press my Mac see.
What could be the source of such difference?
What tool for Mac can show all the details on key presses that arrive to the Mac to troubleshoot?

Battery LED status?

In the kinesis firmware, you can check battery status by holding Mod+② or Mod+④. I think they are not supported in your kemap in the configuration, and I'm uncertain whether they are supported in the modified zmk branch you are using in this repo. Could you provide some information on how to implement/enable the mapping? Thanks.

Sync with main updates

Hey thanks so much for this demo config.

I am not so proficient with ZMK myself, but I was wondering, how I can help to keep this demo up to day with latest ZMK or maybe even Kinesis repo.

question regarding mouse support.

Thanks so much for this repo ( and your others ). I just picked up an advantage pro and am new to zmk.

I forked this repository and successfully flashed the device after making a few changes to this config. Primarily, I just removed the Colemak layer.

For whatever reason, the mouse support doesn't seem to work. I can tell I am entering the layer because keys utilized by the layer and not falling through to lower layers, but still I am unable to move the cursor and simulate clicks. Do you know if this is an OS dependent feature?

Will continue to research on my own but figured I would ask in case I am missing something obvious.
