mywechat-slack-group's Issues

Track the repetitive and valuable conversations/knowledge generated from this slack

Ken Godoy [1:05 PM]
Hi all. Considering that we are getting lots of questions with regards to supporting people... kind of like a StackOverflow of sorts, shouldn't we try to capture some of the common questions? Maybe we can use something like this Slack bot... what do you guys think?

@Ken Godoy

I think that’s an excellent idea.

Based on 2/8 rules, people may be asking similar questions quite common (edited)

Ken Godoy [1:10 PM]
Ok... so I propose we install and try the Guru bot. Do we take a vote?

@Ken Godoy, do we have opensource/free alternative for this?

Ken Godoy [1:16 PM]
ohhh

[1:16]
haha

[1:16]
I'll do more digging.

Denny Zhang [1:17 PM]
Yeah, definitely I agree with your direction, Ken.

It’s about better tracking the repetitive and valuable conversations/knowledge generated from this slack group. Right? (edited)

Ken Godoy [1:18 PM]
Exactly.

[1:18]
Also we are currently past the 10K message limit so we're losing old conversations.

Denny Zhang [1:19 PM]
Yes, it would be a problem. I thought about this before.

Thus I was trying to track most critical info in GitHub repo. :slightly_smiling_face:

Maybe we can have a team-wide dropbox or google drive share folder.

@here What do you guys think? (edited)

Ken Godoy [1:22 PM]
It'd be cool to come up with something that allows us to select a particular conversation and back up somewhere if it's worthy of keeping.

Ken, if we can share the team knowledgebase/conversation in an engaging way.

It should be great.

[1:33]
As you said, the first step, make sure we can save the conversations easily.

The next step: others people can easily do that

The 3rd step: people can not only save that, but also share them to their own networking.
