Error with sunshine

While running sunshine, I've got the following error :

/tmp/.mount_sunshiRfRbhw/usr/bin/sunshine: error while loading shared libraries: libsystemd.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It worked well for a while but I would like to test the latest update. If I'm not wrong, systemd is not installed in batocera ...

Spotify flashing

I installed Spotify into batocera 38, and it just flashes several of the screen elements (playlist etc) for several minutes while ignoring user input, the brings up a screen saying I need to update chrome. It never populates the UI with anything from the web, I e., songs artists playlists

Youtube TV - Old build detected

When launching YoutubeTV app "old build detected" error message appears.

Firefox cannot download any files & forced to full screen

Hi, Thanks for this awesome app package.

Finally I can browse the internet in Batocera by installing Firefox from batocera.pro

However I have two main issues:

1. I cannot save/download any files or images to the directory
2. Whenever I opened the firefox, it is always forced to open in full screen. Is there a way to make it like a normal firefox that is not in full screen?

peazip.sh ${APPNAME^^} returns null which results in incorrect name for downloaded .AppImage

I’m not familiar with this syntax - what is ${APPNAME^^} and ${APPHOME^^} intended to do? remove trailing whitespace?

is it possible it works in your development shell and not the batocera.linux shell?

I’m also in macOS and the expression isn’t working in bash on this end either.

Hey ya'll, would you be interested in adding RomM to the list of apps? I can write the PR for it, just want to know if there's any appetite to having it added. RomM uses MariaDB to store data so I'd need to figure that out (if it's even possible)...

Pad to key and other windows games options

Feature request. I was wondering if there is a way to add options similar to batocera's default windows game category options when creating shortcuts with lutris and heroic. Basically if one goes into the heroic game category that is generated by batocera.pro padtokey and some other options are not available. Thank you.

Is it possible to support Waydroid as container?

I have tested installing the arch container, and I am full blown by the complete set. It's just amazing. In term of container, is it possible to support Waydroid in the future? supporting waydroid might unlock the potential of running android apps in Batocera.

I ask this because, Batocera has wayland. So in theory, running waydroid in Batocera could be a thing in the future.

Uninstall an APP & Youtube Full Screen

Hi,

I have a problem with Chromium, After the fresh install it does not work. I am wondering how to uninstall an app? I have deleted the file manually from /userdata/system/pro. But the shortcut in the F1 application persist even after deleting the icon. Is there a proper way to uninstall an app?

I also want to know is there a way to make youtube not full screen in the start? It seems there is a bug that prevent from full screening a video, at first the video appear about 2/3 of the screen, I have to go back to windowed mode (double click) than full screen again to fix this issue for every video. Therefore I asked is there a way to make youtube start in windowed mode?

Black screen / Kick - from steam + steam big picture mode

First off, thank you so much for all your hard work ! I actually had this running for 1 day before it stopped working. And was playing DS3 and Elden Ring just fine !

I followed the Xterm command, ran the setup, just perfect !
added all the games I wanted to play via steam app in archlinux folder, perfect !
played plenty of elden ring and DS3 , perfect !

Now today when I try ANY steam app, just a black screen :(

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, ran the steam checker app in archlinux. It just keeps
trying and trying something to do with bootstrapper ? and something sniper 3.0 ?

the test/diagnostic programme shows the steam main page during the check
it shows my account log in and verify then back to the diagnostic. and retrying the thing I mentioned

Just black screen any time I try to run a game directly, or steam , or steam big picture.

Please help me. This is how me and my partner game together lol

Controller is not working in steam

Hi. Currently when running the latest version of batocera pro's steam client, my controller is not detected, either in Big Picture mode, or in game if I launch a title using M+K. I am using an xbox controller connected via bluetooth. I raised the question in the Batocera Discord and it seems like other people are having the issue, but I wasn't able to tell if it's an issue with bluetooth controllers or all controllers (I don't own any wired controllers to test). Is it possible to add 3DSen Linux to Batocera Pro Apps?

Hey there! Can you add 3DSen (there's supposed to be a Linux version) to your unofficial apps? I purchased it, but I don't see the option to install it for Linux.

I am gladly giving you a copy to add to the unofficial apps, as I can't figure out how to implement it. It has an executable .exe, but no familiar Linux folders, so I want to send you a copy to make sense of it. I uploaded it to my Internet Archive storage for easy downloading for you as the zip file size is 77MB, and Github wont let me attach anything over 25MB.

I also included 84 of the latest working roms for it. Would be awesome if you can include this with the unofficial apps for Batocera, and allow it to be installed in Ports like the other apps! Please see link below!

GPU accelerated web views in Steam causes black screen.

Problem

After enabling GPU accelerated web views, I cannot get the steam UI to load - all I see is a black screen but I can hear sounds so I know the app is running. I set steam to open in big picture mode by default so I can't tell if this only occurs because of that.

Let me know what information I can provide to help debug this.

Resolution attempts;

• Restarting the machine
• Uninstalling the entire Arch container and reinstalling it, still persisted my login and my settings so please let me know how I can completely purge all that to start fresh. I tried removing the folders under /userdata/system/.local/share and get told I can't delete folders because they're not empty. (this happened both manually running the rm -rf command and asking the batocerapro app to uninstall the container)

Add either a link to the website where the software is from or an explanation of what it is

I did not know what at least 1/4 of this software did, so I had to look them up and guess what they were.

Also, I swear to God the HTML and Markdown on this site is broken. No matter what, if I try to add text to the Readme, the boxes around the text gets broken and unquoted. It would probably need a rewrite of the entire file and add proper CSS just to get it rendering correctly.

Hi. I have a short list of suggestions for adding as arm64 packages to batocera.pro:

Chromium - obviosuly having a browser would be great!

Moonlight client - I like the official client and not needing to pair from terminal :)

Chiaki - ps4/ps5 remote client - sure some people would want that.

Minecraft Java client - can't seem to get enough and I always keep coming back

Freeze when exiting Steam

I have a problem when running a game from Steam using the Steam shortcut in the Batocera menu.

If I exit Steam using the left side menu while the game is running, I exit back to the Batocera menu as I should.

However, if I exit the game first, taking me to the Steam front-end and then try to exit Steam I get a black screen with a Valve logo in the middle, surrounded by a rotating semi-circle, waiting thingy. If I try to force exit using alt+f4, I get a black screen.

I can still swap tty terminals using ctrl+alt+function key, but the Batocera front-end won't restart.

I've come up with a kludge that seems to work.

In Steam, in the game properties if I change the command line parameters to:

%command% ; (sleep 10 ; steam -shutdown) &

This seems to work. The sleep command gives Steam Cloud time to kick in and using steam -shutdown instead of pkill steam gives Steam Cloud time to finish.

I was wondering if there was a way to automate the process.

Just a suggestion but plex htpc with controller support would be an awsome edition. Dont get me wrong plex for kodi is great but the plex tv and movies section is nice.

bedrock does not work

Hi looks like there is a bedrock.sh expected in the scripts but only https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uureel/batocera.pro/main/bedrock/ps3plus.sh is present. If I just download and execute that script it looks like it downloads the needed files and creates a shortcut.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this.

What about some of the biggest streaming services like Netflix or Hulu etc. so batocera is more of a console experience.

Feature Request: Close Steam automatically when game launched from ES is exited.

Description

Basically self titled but the user experience with launching Steam games from ES when Flatpak installed worked was quite nice - Steam would open either minimized or silently and when you exited the game you'd be returned to the ES menu.

Is this possible with the arch container version of Steam? If so, can I enable it or have it be provided as an option?

2 Heroic launchers.

Thank you again for a wonderful repo.
If you choose to install heroic launcher from the batocera.pro list everything works as expected. Though, how do I uninstall it? And where is the app folder located for the heroic launcher?
However, if you choose to install lutris it will install every app from baticera.pro. I am not sure if it is the intended behavior. Then installer will give you an option to create an entry in batocera to create game lists from your lutris or heroic for you. So, if you launch heroic from "the games for Linux" entry it is a different version of heroic than the one that installs if you specifically choose heroic in the batocera.pro menu. It also saves game prefixes in a different location and if you choose to create a shortcut nothing happens.
So, to sum it up.

1. Instead of lutris we get every linux app.
2. How to uninstall heroic launcher or any other batocera.pro app.
3. Heroic that comes in the bundle with steam and lutris is not creating game list shortcuts.

To replicate the issue just choose to install lutris from batocera.pro menu.

xcloud exit

Hello, first of all I would like to thank whoever is managing this repo. I hope it will always be there and stay up to date.
xcloud does not seem to respond to the exit combo on the controller start+select. Even if I try to press the guide button and go to the "X" in the top right to exit the browser noting happens. Same happens if I use a keyboard or mouse.
