Separator in the end of the line should be optional

It should be determined by EOL_HANDLING, but as far as I found it have no influence.

Segmentation fault in dbgen

Currently, dbgen is crashing with a segmentation fault:

• under Linux, if it is built with clang and optimization is enabled
• under OS X, if it is built with either clang or gcc and optimization is enabled

But gcc under Linux is working successfully even with -O3.

Not setting the build type if none specified

We should set a Releasd build type if the user has not specified the build type.

Re-merge this with eyalroz' repository

Hello Valentin,

I couldn't figure out your email, so I'm writing you via the issues mechanism.

I think it would be better if all (generally-applicable) improvements and fixes to the SSB dbgen happen on one repository rather than on several, to avoid fragmentation. Would you consider joining efforts in maintaining such a single repository?

As an example, I noticed your Issue #2 , that's open. This issue is supposedly relevant in my repository as well, right? Well - why not file it there,, in which case I could look at it as well.
