Welcome to the Library Management System (LMS) project! This system is designed to streamline library processes including user registration, catalog management, and fine handling features. With an integrated database management system, it efficiently handles book requests, reservations, and generates insightful reports for library administrators.

• User Registration: Users can register themselves with the system by providing necessary information.
• Catalog Management: Library staff can manage the catalog by adding, updating, or removing books.
• Book Requests: Users can request books, which are then processed by the library staff.
• Reservations: Users can reserve books that are currently unavailable.
• Fine Handling: The system manages fines for late returns or other penalties.
• Reporting: Generates insightful reports for administrators to analyze library usage patterns and trends.

Installation

1. Clone the Repository:

• Copy the repo link and do git clone to get the source code.

3. Database Setup:

• Import the SQL file provided (database.sql) into your MySQL database.

• Modify the database connection settings in config.php to match your MySQL database credentials.

4. Run the Application:

• Start your local server (e.g., using XAMPP, WAMP, or MAMP).
• Access the application through your web browser.

Usage

• Catalog Management: Library staff can add, update, or remove books from the catalog.
