Quick Connect takes a user to the Connect Pop-up

Hi

Just a tiny observation.

Having used the "Connect" button to define a connection to a Velbus network, I thought I'd use the "Quick Connect" button next.

The "Quick Connect" took me to the same "Connection" pop-up.

(Version 9.xxxx all worked find)

Back Button in New Project Module

There is a an inconsistency in teh Back button in the new project wizard.

1. Create a new project, give it a name, click Next
2. Select Work Offline, click Next
3. 3. Click Back (not Finish)
4. The screen should jump back to online vs offline, but instead advances to the "Populating youyr project" page asking you to scan

This is inconsistent. It should go back to the online vs offline page

Access Violation when Node Address conflicts

I was trying to add a new node. I used the + button, selected node type VMBGPTC, set address to 99 and clicked OK

The dialog prompted "This address has been assigned to another module. Please choose another address", click OK.
Set the address as 98, and clicked OK. The following error appeared

NB Node 99 is VMB6PBN

Reading of VMB1RYS goes wrong

When I read the VMB1RYS module from 10.4.1. the actions read from the module (is that the name?) are added to the actions which were in the original project file.

So each time I read this specific module, I end up with more and more actions in the project. Somehow the SW sees the actions read from the module as different once that were in the module.

So there are 3 actions defined for a specific channel, and after reading, there are 6 actions in my project. After another read there are 9 actions. Things go south very fast from there.

VelBusLink detects the changes in the rules and keep wanting to re-write the module. I did that by accident and that made the amount of rules explode.

VelbusLink installer V10.6.2 gives erros

The installer gives an error when installing VelbusLink 10.6.2, it states that 3or4 documents already exists, to get it installed i ignored it and didn't replace the files (it are the .html files).

Error wen adding next action

Hello, once again a new bug that was not there before.

When you are programming in the application velbuslink, now when you create actions and you press next.
It's says action ..... created when you press ok it throws an error in the Error Assistant.

I think releasing under new software updates under Beta is a good idea, giving these beta's to only distributors so they can also test before releasing it for the whole userbase. Having error's and stuff malfunctioning like this doens't give the end client confidence in the product or its software.

Running velbus link on Linux or macosx

Hi, would it be possible to unlock the status quo of having to run velbus link on windows? I have been a happy user of a velbus system for close to 10 years now, and I cannot describe the pain I have to go through when I need to change something on the installation (which is not often), and I realize that I have upgraded my OS too far and I can’t run my virtualization softwares (only used for velbus - so steep to upgrade just for that) don’t work anymore.

If the issue is about resources to port the software, maybe the community could help?
