A way to think about personal finance with ledger and ledger-mode for emacs.

- Each months, using a crontab, it creates a new account in ledger “Assets:Budget:MonthName”
- Provides a capture template to add expenses coming from this budget
- Generates a monthly report on your finances
- Paste the org-capture-template into your config
(defun function-for-financial-template ()
(concat ledger-date-string-today " *%^{Event} \n\t" "Expenses:%^{type} \t\t %^{amount}\n\tAssets:Budget:%<%B>" ))
(setq org-capture-templates '(("f" "Add a financial expense" plain
(file "/home/velo/Documents/Me/Finance/my.ledger")
(function function-for-financial-template))
))
- run install.sh
- [X] Multiple currency fix in report
- [ ] Create report generation script
- [ ] Implement user variables into something
