Cloud based applications are the newest technologies that people started using. Using the cloud as a source of data, this application is designed. Cloud will have large data of image files collected and also the information related to image files. A person can send an image to the cloud, so it will send the information related to that image to the requested. There is a need for these kind of applications where in security is a major concern ;i.e avaiation security, security staff can identify the person without asking any details take a snap of concerned and send it to the cloud and get the details. These days web-cameras are installed everywhere, so suspected persons moving around will be catched through the cam, send the details regarding suspected to the security wings. In future, ease of access to the cloud and need for high security create importance to this kind of applications, and also for tourists will get to know the information about visiting places without any need of tour-guides. The only need for this is to have camera enabled phone or device with internet facility. Simply this can be called as “Image search engine”.
