Saddle doesn't put maid on your shoulder visually

When you use saddle on a maid, she should ride your shoulders, right? But she doesn't. Instead she stays in one place and trying to look in the same direction you look or somewhere high. At least it looks that way. Technically she actually is on players shoulders, because she starts to take damage (suffocate), when you enter someplace with low ceiling (only 2 blocks high).

[Suggestion] No more TNT-suicide maids!

Never used a suicide maid. And never will. Because it's just cruel. But if you were to make TNT-maids not to explode, but to drop lit TNT on hit and run away... wouldn't that be awesome? And this feature would require TNT-awarness, that every maid class would benefit from. Like everyone who doesn't have a shield - would run away, and those who have - would block the explosion.

[Suggestion?] Maid teleports alternatives

Not sure if it's actually an issue or a good idea, but maybe it could lead to some ideas of your own, so...

As I understand it, all contracted maids have an anchor point that follows the player coordinates when on duty and just stands there when in free mode. And when too far from that anchor - maid teleports back to it (in 1.8.8 they often teleported into walls in caves, can't verify if they keep doing it in 1.9 yet). That leads to strange behaviour like: maid detects a mob far away, rushes to it, hits it once, instantly teleports back to anchor; or when in freedom mode in snowy area - they are keep going outside of anchor zone and again teleport back to it. Not like it's a problem or something, just looks weird.

In case teleporting rules are not the part of native minecraft code you use, then maybe you could apply some of these ideas:

  • I remember littlemaidmob having a maid whistle in early versions. But if it's purpose was to call (force-teleport) maids to the player, then maybe it should be brought back again? With that it would be possible to remove teleporting (so it would only work if maid is stuck) or greatly increase the radius of no-teleport zone around anchor (but not sure if that wouldn't cause problems in caves).
  • Dashing seem to be avalible for maids, so when maid is outside of anchor zone - make her dash to it for maybe 5-10 seconds. If by the end of that time, maid is still outside the zone - make her teleport.
  • Or use two-layer model - maid dashes to anchor when she is like 16 blocks away and teleport her when she is 32 block away.
  • Make maid awarness zone to match anchor zone so she wouldn't follow enemies outside of that zone.

[Suggestion] Dedicated slot(s) for maid's current tool(s)

I noticed that right-clicking maid with a stick makes her change her "main hand". Is it possible to add one or even two dedicated slots that would act as "maid's main tools" and decide the maid's status?

  • That might allow to change maid's class without using sugar (so it would only toggle the waiting mode).
  • It would also add a knight-class maid (sword&shield) possibility.
  • And in tandem with Dynamic Lights mod and secondary slot (shield one), escorters would become even more usefull while carrying torch in their left hand, lighting up the area around them.

Not all maids follow master on /tp command

Used /tp command with 3 maids riding me. Lost them all. "Hired" 3 more maids. Tried /tp command again and only 1 maid teleported with me. Found other 2 at the old position. Yet to find first 3 "riders".

Can you make all the maids to teleport with you you on /tp command use?

[Suggestion] Dual wielding benefits

Just give berserker another axe to see how badass that maid would look. But right now it's nothing but looks.

Maybe you could make melee combat maids attack twice as fast if they had weapons in both hands? Or maybe do double damage instead?

[Suggestion] Fencer/berserker attack range increase

Attack range for sword/axe maids seems to be too short, as maid takes a hit almost every time she attacks. As player you can defeat monsters without taking any damage, at least if it is 1 on 1. But with maids it's like they hit mobs with their heads, instead of weapons.

[Suggestion] Maid's voice overlap

Maids are using sugar the moment they are damaged. There is no delay and with a voice pack maids sound a bit masohistic, which might be good for some, but is illogical. They also voice-spam when they're about to attack.

Is it possible to make maids speak like only once per second, so voices of a single maid would not overlap so much?

Maids don't have models

I have these two installed:
EBLib-5.1.0.1-1.9.jar
LittleMaidReengaged-7.1.2.4-1.9.jar

"Wild" maids are invisible (have no models?). Their shadows are visible and they make sounds.
Maid spawned by an egg has default black model and is visible.

Do I need some other mod?

[Exploit] Collection of locked arrows

Maids are able to pick up arrows. All arrows, including those, which player shouldn't be able to get due to obvious exploit (the ones shot by skeletons or players/maids with a bow with Infinity enchantment).

But it's ok while maids shooting arrows everywhere but the target (#30) XD

Strange archer maid behaviour

  • Sometimes, they are standing still, yet shaking their head like crazy, while watching enemy too far away.
  • First shot at the enemy is usually a double shot (2 arrows within 1 second).
  • Sometimes arrows are being shot at different direction but with the right angle - in a direction maid moves at the moment (archers walk sideways when aiming).
  • When bow gets broken maid keep behaving like she still has a bow instead of simply following the player.
  • Using saddle on archer makes maids twitch a lot and sometimes her arrows hit you.

[Bug?] Maid with a torch vs Torch layer

Latest OptiFine now includes the Dynamic Lights mod feature. But with new class change trigger it bugs out the idea of [Escort maid] with a torch, as that maid instantly becomes a [Torch Layer]. And putting a torch in second slot automatically moves it into first. Is it possible to make only the first slot to be a trigger? Or at least to have torch layers to keep the last torch they have?

[Suggestion] Fencers vs skeleton archers

Fencers seem to be at great disadvantage versus skeleton archers. With delayed sugar-healing fix, armorless maids could be easily defeated by skeleton archer. If only they were to be able to use shields though...

Is it possible to make fencers dash when charging at the enemy?

Maids have difficulty chasing mobs if player is behind them

If a maid is tasked with killing mobs or shearing sheep, she has great difficulty on deciding whether to run to the mobs or come back to the player. She shakes her head from side to side and walks around aimlessly. It gets even worse if the player is holding sugar.

Can be reproduced as follows:

  • Place a sheep and walk 15 blocks away from it.
  • Place a maid near yourself.
  • Task her with shearing, so that she has to walk away from you to get to the sheep -> she starts walking around slowly and shakes a lot, never reaching the sheep.
  • Run/fly past her and go stand next to the sheep. Suddenly she approaches it much more quickly.

Tall maids don't look at the player properly

If you get close to a tall maid, she'll look over your head instead of facing you. She thinks she's a small maid who has to look upwards to face the player.

This can be easily reproduced by picking the Stef or Steve model and standing close to it. The "Beverly7" multimodel by voms is also affected (I ported it to LittleMaidReengaged: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60681258/littleMaid/littleMaidMob-Beverly7-190.zip).

The bug can be fixed by adding a call to setSize() in ModelConfigCompound.setTextureBox().

[Bug?] Berserkers hate armour stands

For some reason berserkers really hate armour stands. They keep attacking them in survival mode endlessly (attack speed isn't fast enough to destroy it) and destroying them in creative mode.

Crash when Farmer plants beetroot

申し訳ありません、英語能力の不足でよくわからない題名になってしまっています・・・。
バグの内容ですが、農業モードのメイドさんにビートルートの種を持たせたところ、メイドさんがそれを植えた瞬間にクラッシュしてしまいました。
また、新しく作ったワールドで、同様に試してみたところ小麦の種からビートルートに切り替わって植え始めた瞬間同様にクラッシュしてしまいました。
クラッシュしてしまったワールドは何度試しても読み込んだとたんにクラッシュしてしまうので植えたビートルートの苗が何かおかしなことになっているのでしょうか?
対応よろしくお願いします。

Unequiping torches doesn't work properly for maids now?

With Dynamic Lights mod, every maid, that held a torch even once, keep emmitting light after unequipping it. On world restart lights go away. This suggests that "unequip" function (at least for torches) doesn't work properly now.

It could be just an incompability with Dynamic Lights mod, but I don't remember it happening before 7.1.5.19.

DevMode.DEVMODE == DevMode.DEVMODE_ECLIPSE のディレクトリー参照について

LittleMaidReengagedをここの公開ソースを開発環境に入れて見たのですが、
eclipseを使用しているので
net.blacklab.lmr.util.DevModeの
DEVMODE = DevMode.DEVMODE_ECLIPSE
にしてみたのですが、
net.blacklab.lmr.util.FileListで
/eclipse/
と直接指定して読みにいっているようですが、うちの環境ではデバックのクライアント起動のディレクトリーをデフォルトから変えているのでエラーが出てしまいます。
仕方なしにeclipseフォルダを指定して起動できるようにはしているのですが、
出来ましたらディレクトリー取得を
Minecraft.getMinecraft().mcDataDir
にしていただけませんでしょうか?
そこにしていただけますと開発環境・通常環境ともに問題なく動作すると思われます。
私のように起動ディレクトリーを変えていても問題無くなります。
検討お願いします。

[Suggestion] Disable/prevent friendly fire for archer maids

Archers cause friendly fire quite often. Especially in a team with some melee fighter class. Is it possible to disable friendly fire for archer maids or maybe prevent them from shooting if friendlies (player or maids of the same player) are in the line of fire?

[Suggestion] Maid-in-distress mode

Might be a bit cruel of me to suggest this after all these updates but just imagine this:

  • you with two maids in a cave (fencer/knight and an escort maid)
  • you get somewhere where maids are unable to follow you
  • knight bravery jumps down if you're below, takes damage but still follows you
  • escort maid stays at closest point and CALLS FOR YOU ("Master, where are you?", "HALP!!")
  • when too far away or out of sight - a marker would point to "a maid in distress" (like waypoints of minimaps)
  • same would happen if an enemy appears - knight would rush to attack, while non-combat maids would take cover

So instead of teleporting, a maid should just stay where she is and call for help, until path to master is avalible or hazard (enemy, fire, etc) is removed.

If this is possible, then maybe other class-enchantments would be possible, like:

  • fencer/knight (brave) class wont be afraid of fall damage and would attack enemies closest to the player; would try to follow master even if far away (different dimensions trouble possible?)
  • same with bloodsucker (berserk) but it would chase single enemy untill it's dead before changing the target with no regard for player's actions or position; would hold position and call for master if too far away
  • escort, farmer (peacefull) classes would switch to maid-in-distress mode when too far away from player or near danger - like enemies or some hazard (fire/lava)

Actually fire/lava "hazards" could be player-made (campfires, lava fountains), so instead of switching to distress mode, it would be better to just avoid those like cactuses (#37) and/or treat those as 2-3 block height walls, so distress mode would trigger if there is no pathway to player.

[Suggestion] Gunpowder autouse for berserkers

As the title says - if berserker has a gunpowder in her apron and isn't in Hot mode yet, she should use it when enemy is in sight. Why? Because hot dual wielding berserker is a PERFECT berserker.

[Bug?] 1.6.2 models do not work anymore?

Until now I used littleMaidMob-1_6_2-3M_v1 model/skin pack (the one you used before in your videos). But with latest update it doesn't show up in model selection screen.

Who do I have to kill to bring those models back? They were cute T_T

Swimming & swirling & flashin skirts

When in water, maids like to swirl a lot when sinking to their target destination. This looks AWKWARD. Same stuff happens on land, but it is not as noticable as in water. Could you maybe add a radius to that destination point (make it an a "destination area" instead of "destination point") or something else, so they wouldn't swirl so much?

P.S. Maid's destination point while swimming seems to be right above the player. You pervert XD

Escorter being lazy

On screenshot maid doesn't have free slots in her apron, but seed stacks aren't full. Yet she ignores any dropped seeds around her, unless she walk into them. If you free one slot, she starts to collect dropped seeds as she should. I wonder if that is fixable...

Vanilla player texture messed up

Seems like LMMRE messes up vanilla player textures in some way. That bug was in previous versions too.

Maids do Michael Jackson style walking

It is an old bug. Sometimes the direction of maid's bodies do not match the direction they walk to. Like when maid moves North, but body is turned West or even South.

Bug is easily noticable if you watch wild maids running around in the rain.

[Suggestion] Medic class

Suggestion #45 gave me another idea - how about you remove maids self healing ability? If you were to, that would present several more maid behaviour and interaction possibilities:

  • player would have to heal maids with sugar or some other sweet stuff, like maybe some candy (additional mod?) that would heal better than sugar;
  • badly hurt maids would fall back or switch to maid-in-distress mode;
  • and the most interesting possibility - medic class.

There are already a healer and feeder classes, but with dedicated slots you could unite them into a single medic class, that would use any food, potions or sugar respectively if the need arises. It could also be the only class with self-healing ability. It would usually behave like escort class - being afraid of monsters and calling for help if there is no path to anchor-point, but only until someone from her awarness area takes damage or gets hungry - then she would turn into fearless resquer, rushing to the hurt ones with healing items in hands.

Crash on enemy kill and broken world as result

Sometimes game crashes when maid defeats a mob as a fencer. After few crashes I ended up with "broken world" - the game is stuck in "Building terrain" state, while endlessly writing log with exceptions. [Suggestion] Love for cactuses

Maids seem to like hugging or getting on top of cactuses (height=1). And when they do, they just stand there and take damage until you push them or walk away. Is it possible to make maids avoid cactuses?

Apron bugs (maid GUI)

  • There seems to be a difference in whoever puts item in an apron (maid or player): maid do not add picked items to stacks that was put there by player
  • GUI shows only status/class and armor. Health is missing (already fixed in 7.1.4.7?)
  • You can't strip maids armor without holding shift now (is it normal?)
