This is the main page for the course "Intelligence artificielle pour l'astrophysique à l'époque du big-data" at the Ecole Doctorale ED-127. The course will consist of lecutres in the mornings followed by tuorial sessions in the afternoons.

Times (CEST)

Monday to Friday:

• Mornings: 9h30-10h30 and 11h30-12h30
• Afternoons: 14h30-17h30

• Introudction to classical supervised machine learning (RFs, SVMs)
• Foundations of Artificial Neural Netowrks
• Supervised deep learning: Convolutional Neural Networks
• Beyond classification with deep learning: Encoder-Decoders
• Introduction to unsupervised machine learning (clustering, dimensionality reduction)
• Generative Models (VAEs, GANs).

Requirements for the tutorials

Tutorials will be on Google Colab. Please make sure to open a Google Account before starting the course.
