github-feed-filter's Introduction

GitHub Feed Filter is available as a Google Chrome extension.

It reads through the visible feeds in the News Feed section and lists them in the page just like Your Repos or Watched Repos. Clicking on a repository will filter out your News Feed to only include feeds from that repository. This filtering can be further extended to show only the feeds for commits, comments or issues made in that repository.

github-feed-filter's Issues

Adding more news feeds resets existing filters

When the More link is clicked to get more news feeds, the existing filters are reset. Currently this is by design, since the code is essentially re-run again to create a new panel.

a) Retain existing search
b) Optimize re-run

Optimization

See #1. Re-runs on "more" items loaded to the news feed can be optimized.

Fix undefined feeds

I see some feeds like this:

auto/undefined(4)
tmp/undefined(8)
master/undefined(1)

Those don't look like proper repos.

github support

did you asked github to integrate this nice feature into their site?

Pagination problem

Probably it's supposed to be like that, but I find it a bit confusing, that filter work only on the first page of the feed. And if I filter something and want to see more, the filter resets.

Filtering stars

It would be nice to have a filter to see only star-messages of the feed.
