Usage: ./install.sh [OPTIONS...]

OPTIONS:
  -d, --dest DIR           Specify theme destination directory (Default: /home/romildo/.local/share/icons)

Which files to replace to change some icons

I really like your power button icons from Emerald theme. I have tried changing some icons to get them to use in Qogir but count achive.

If it wont bother you could you tell me which files to replace to get thoose icons to use in Qogir.

A few wrong icons on KDE KCM/System Settings/Info Center using Qogir-dark (and misc nitpicks).

All of this applies for Plasma 5.19+, as there were changes to the icons used, seemingly.

On Info Center the Memory tab uses a Hard Drive: (This one is a little funny, to be honest)

On Info Center the icons are inconsistent (Energy is monochrome and the rest are colorful)

On System Settings:
Search and Workspace Behavior on System Settings have the same icon

Thunderbolt also has the same icon. Seems to be the generic setting icon.

On Hardware the "Removable Storage" icon is monochrome, where the rest are colorful.

On Network both Connections and Settings have the exact same icon.

On Input Devices, Touchpad has a generic icon, and the game controller icon stands out way too much.

On Display and Monitor, Compositor has a generic icon.

On Regional Settings Language and Formats have the same icon.

On Bluetooth Devices and Adapters have the same icon, and Advanced Settings has a Hamburger Menu icon.

On Power Management, Advanced Settings has a Hamburger Menu icon.

I understand System Settings is a big application with a lot of icons, so just take this as nitpicks to make you aware of them. No rush on actually fixing any.

Issues about folder / file manager icons

There are several issues or questions that I can find:

• scalable/places/user-home.svg is missing, there is default-user-home.svg instead which is rarely used in icon themes
  • Why is there default- prefixes in places folder? Shouldn't there be at least symbolic links to the standard names?
• apps/file-manager.svg looks more like what should be in places/user-home.svg (and looks better than default-user-home.svg), I think it needs to be replaced
• apps/thunar.svg is same as places/default-folder.svg but purple, why?
• I think apps/thunar.svg should be a symbolic link to apps/file-manager.svg
• It's nice to add apps/caja.svg and apps/nautilus.svg as symbolic links to apps/file-manager.svg

some tray icons do not scale to the panel

Hi,
On cinnamon, some panel icons do not scale properly.

the printer and disk icons are fine, but the wifi , sound and battery icons are smaller than they are supposed to be.

anyway, thanks for the great icon theme. would be great if these icons also scale properly.

request: add ability to disable app icons to install.sh

Hey, thanks for Qogir.

I prefer to use the visual design chosen by upstream developers for each app. So, for example, I don't want the Firefox icon that Mozilla provides with Firefox replaced by the one in this theme.

Unfortunately, changing this isn't as easy as just rm -r apps, because a bunch of the generic icons in that directory are needed. For example, KDE's system settings application uses preferences-desktop.svg as the icon in the app for "workspace behavior". It expects this icon to be available in the user's chosen icon theme, or the icon is broken. (Perhaps there's a workaround for this by adding the Breeze them as an explicit fallback in Qogir, but even in that case it would only work for KDE apps.)

So what I'm hoping is that there's a way the Qogir installer can isolate icons that are intended to replace app defaults (e.g. in the taskbar), and have the option to not install them.

Rust and Haskell not scalable

The icons for the Rust and Haskell languages are not scalable as the others

They are just a letter in the svg, so they look inconsistent.

Folder-Color support

Any chance of support for Folder-Color in this icon theme? Qogir is one of my favorite themes, but not having Folder-Color support makes me less inclined to use it, and I end up using Tela-circle with the Qogir GTK+ theme instead of these icons.

The following icons are "missing" from the theme.

• /apps/fm-new.png - New File Manager window

• /apps/fm-details.png - View as detailed list

These are needed in 16, 24, and 48px variants by Raspbian's (latest build of Buster) file manager application.

Icons of places in menu

Hello, here is an image of cinnamon menu places sections, the icons for the dedicated folders, like music folder could be better if they used the blue version, like I changed the downloads folder icon to be the blue version

Broken symlink using install.sh

After installing with install.sh, it appears the Aegisub icon is missing, which breaks a symlink.

i.e. /usr/share/icons/Qogir/scalable/apps/org.aegisub.Aegisub.svg points to /usr/share/icons/Qogir/scalable/apps/aegisub.svg which does not exist.

Missing Icon for Okular while opening a file

In "Applications" Okular has a nice Dark Icon, but while opening a File, it is missing the Icon, see picture.

Unexpected change with the Nemo icon.

Hello!

After the last update, in the Cinnamon panel, the Nemo icon (folder) is no longer colored when the size is set to 24, it is only colored after size 32.
Using size 24, the Nemo icon becomes a symbolic type with a size less than 24. So I was forced to change the size of the icons to 32.
I would like to continue using size 24 for the panel icons, as this makes it more pleasant and takes up less space on the desktop.

I noticed the same behavior in the Cinnamon menu and inside Nemo.

Grateful for any help.

Discord has moved to a slightly simplified logo, and is now using a darker blue in their branding. It would be nice if Qogir's icon for it reflected those changes.

Cursors do not work in certain applications

The Qogir cursor switches to the ubuntu default cursor in the application Gitahead, and the cursor is recovered when it lies on the title bar of Gitahead. I have not found other applications have this issue yet.

Add symbolic links for xfce 4.16 new rDNS named icon

In Xfce 4.16, app icon names have changed to follow a rDNS naming schema resulting in Qogir icons not appearing where they should.

Error for inode-directory.svg

inode-directory.svg gives some error that the linked source is not found.

I have checked which folder and found that

16/mimetypes/inode-directory.svg
22/mimetypes/inode/directory

i have replaced from place/folder.svg with inode-directory.svg in 16 and 22 folder and issue fixed.

window buttons on non-qogir theme get qogir style

xubuntu 19.04 64 bits

when i applied this icon theme, some theme like numix and plata get qogir window button on csd app like chrome/firefox, some other theme like greybird or gtk themes with mac style button not affected.
