Deployment Center: CD configuration job fails due to invalid slot name while creating slot

Deployment Center: new project name is invalid

Project creation in CD job fails due to invalid project name.

We need to add validation for allowed project names.

Error:
Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Core.WebApi.InvalidProjectNameException: TF50316: The following name is not valid: 972aa85f-4f77-4c99-a044-b34286f3afe5. Verify that the name does not exceed the maximum character limit, only contains valid characters, and is not a reserved name.

Deployment Center: CD job fails as user does not have permission on a particular agent queue

Error:
Microsoft.VisualStudio.Services.Common.VssServiceException: Access denied. needs Use permissions for pool Default to perform the action. For more information, contact the Azure DevOps Server administrator.

Deployment Center: Wrong project name is being requested

Please provide us with the following information:

Repro steps

Any Function App -> Deployment Center -> LocalGit -> Choose Existing Account -> Choose Existing Project e.g "ABCD" -> Choose to create new Account and provide account name -> Done

Any error messages

In this scenario, it will forward Project Name as "ABCD" which ideally should be null.

Project Name: MyFirstProject, for create new org scenario is behaving mysteriously.

in create new org flow, we pass Project Name : MyFirstProject. The setup goes through successfully but the project behaves mysteriously.

1. The project can not be found on the list projects page
2. The next project created in that organization, contains all the resources which were part of MyFirstProject.

Deployment Center: On clicking finish for windows function app deployment centre for pipelines, successfully disconnected message is shown

Tried on Windows, Chrome

Repro steps
Create Azure Function app on windows with consumption plan
Setup pipeline using deployment centre
Disconnect Pipeline from deployment centre
Again try to setup pipeline using deployment centre, do not choose the app type (Script Function app is the default value)
Click finish.
In notification bar, successfully disconnected message is shown.
The initial deployment centre page is shown to choose from the repo sources.
After sometime on reopening the deployment centre page, the setup pipeline is shown

Deployment Center: CI/CD is breaking for Functions with dedicated extensions

Setup CI/CD with repo containing Queue Trigger function or any other function with dedicated extensions

Azure Functions with dedicated extensions like Queue Trigger is breaking though BD and RD run successfully. This seems to be breaking from long time since the concept of extensions.csproj came into picture.

Deployment Center: First pipeline: Archive task fails to find working directory

Happens for both Windows and Linux Web app.
Web Framework: PHP, python, ruby, static webapp

Deployment Center: First pipeline: VSBuild task fails with error - Solution not found

This error happens for AspNetWap and DotNetPreCompiledFunctionApp app types

Deployment Centre: Unable to autofill the correct framework and version for linux apps

Web app framework and framework versions field are being fetched for the app, but are not auto filled correctly. Leading to default web app framework being sent in the payload

Deployment Center: Invalid build configuration type

Errors:

source.buildConfiguration.type: Property 'source.buildConfiguration.type' has invalid/unsupported value 'StaticWebapp'
source.buildConfiguration.type: Property 'source.buildConfiguration.type' has invalid/unsupported value 'ScriptFunctionApp'

Deployment Center: Change text of 'View Instructions' for Local Git

Deployment Center: Linux App service, AspNetCore Startup command should not be empty

Startup command for ASP.NET Core is allowed to be empty, while it throws error

Deployment Center: Validation if setup already existing on finish click is missing

No validation to check if setup is present for the webapp on finish click.

Deployment Centre: vstsProjectsApi only returns 100 projects, continuation token is not honored.

While checking permissions on the project, the vstsprojectapi call made only returns top projects along with continuation token in the header.
The continuation token is not honored and thus validation for some projects is skipped.
