Tips Of The Day

Tips for every day by VirtusLab

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory. Use the --prod flag for a production build.

Remove more contentious emojis given that it's an official VL website

:grammar-nazi: and all Pepe-related like :pepepanic: or :sadpepe:

:fuggg: is also probably a candidate to replace since well, it's a poorly veiled profanity ;p

:general-spurdo: might bring up associations with certain 20th century dictator... not good either :/

:nooo-you-cant-just: next to the grammar tip on they... can be thought of as offensive as well

:jon-pretty: (used once) isn't exactly contentious... but still a bit weird anyway ;)

:pacman: would look better on white background when replaced with :pacman-dark: ;)

:azure-on-fire:... meh, a logo :/

Production site should have # anchors

Change the color scheme to be consistent with other VL sites

When a heading is selected from menu, the location is address bar should get updated

Currently, the location gets updated when you click into the heading itself, but not when you select it from the right-hand side menu.

Remove the hyperlinks from code sections

Use consistent formatting for quoted English words in English/Teamwork sections

Sometimes it's preformatted text, sometimes cursive bold... let's make consistent, I'd prefer the latter
