gpsmap's Issues

No such node (speed)

Hello,

I'm trying to use this tool on Windows, using Ubuntu terminal installed from Windows Store and I think I made it doable. But I have some problem with .gpx files.

This is the command, which I used:

/mnt/c/Users/macie/Videos/Kamery_samochodowe/GitHub/gpsmap-build/src/gps -gpx /mnt/c/Users/macie/Videos/Kamery_samochodowe/Robocze/2024_0501_065035_F.gpx -rsrcdir /mnt/c/Users/macie/Videos/Kamery_samochodowe/GitHub/gpsmap/rsrc -tiles /mnt/c/Users/macie/Videos/Kamery_samochodowe/GitHub/tiles_files -outdir /mnt/c/U sers/macie/Videos/Kamery_samochodowe/GitHub/output

And this is an error:

Using map URL https://a.osm.rrze.fau.de/osmhd/$z/$x/$y.png Loading /mnt/c/Users/macie/Videos/Kamery_samochodowe/Robocze/2024_0501_065035_F.gpx 0 frames - 00:00 terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::wrapexcept<boost::property_tree::ptree_bad_path>' what(): No such node (speed) Aborted

This is the .gpx file, which I'm using, it doesn't have speed node unfortunately:

Fix cumulative distance with multiple GPX files

Use case: a cyclist stops riding in one location, stops the gps recording, then resumes riding and restarts the gps in another location.

Current behavior: the map will show a straight line between the last gpx entry from the first recording and the first entry of the second recording. The cumulative distance will include this fake line.

Desired behavior: do not show the straight line (there should be a gap) and do not count it in the distance.
