BoxTent is a frontend workflow that gives you the infrastructure to build your next website prescribing web development best practices to deliver a state of the art product to your users. With the help of Grunt and Bower, BoxTent automates your workflow and takes care of assets optimization, concatenation, minification and much more. BoxTent includes out of the box support for:

• Sass (.scss) compilation
• Images optimization and compression
• .js concatenation
• .html, .css and .js minification
• .css automatic autoprefixing
• Browser auto-reloading and live syncing across devices

  • watch task for partial scss now triggers a main.scss file compilation
  • Compass is now removed from BoxTent
  • renamed the css watch task into scss watch task

Issue on _dev folder update

There was issue with updating _dev folder file while I make changes on _src folder HTML or CSS. Whenever I make changes on _src folder the command line shows the files updated. But the changes are not updated on browser. Also I tried checking the _dev folder files for the updates. But the changes are not there in the files.

Not sure this issue is because of Critical CSS.

Update plugins to the latest version

Hi I'm newbie to grunt and sass. Is it possible to update the devDependencies to the latest version and copy the updated files to the dev folder.

For example I'm having the jquery 1.9.1 as devDependencies and I would like to update the jquery to the latest version and copy that to the directory _dev>js>libs. So that whenever there is a newer version of plugins the attached scripts will be updated to the latest version. Is it possible..?
